Patricia A. Brosious

Patricia Brosious (nee Hammond), of Warminster passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Hospice. She was 86 years old. Patricia was the devoted wife of the late Ralph E Brosious, Jr. Patricia was born in Philadelphia in 1929 and was the daughter of the late Mary Theresa (nee Donahue) and Joseph F Hammond. She was predeceased by her only sister Nancy Dougherty, and by one grandson, John Brosious. Pat was a graduate of J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. She was a wife, mother and daytime caregiver to many of her grandchildren. She was an active member of her church and within the community at Ann's Choice, also donating years of service the PAUD Optimist Club, which actively supports many local charitable causes. In 1994 Pat was elected and served as the first female governor in Pennsylvania for the PAUD Optimist Club. Pat is survived by her eight children, Kathy Cushman (Michael), of Colorado, Elizabeth Brosious of Landenberg, PA, David Brosious (Debbie) of Dalmatia, PA, Lou Anne of Telford, PA, Karl Brosious (Karen) of New Britain, PA, Susan Brosious of Warminster, PA, Mark Brosious of Charlotte, NC, Ralph Brosious III (Malinda) of Cincinnati, OH; Her 23 grandchildren, Jennifer Pellegrino, Kristina Brosious-Iannozzi, Bridget Warner, Amanda Law, Regina Malloy, Eileen Dunn, Kate Dunn, Melissa Konecny, Michael Gibbons, Stephanie Powell, David Gibbons, Rachel Konecny, Jason Brosious, Erin Bello, Matthew Brosious, Ryan Bello, Megan Fink, Jessica Brosious, Julie Bello, Mark Brosious Jr, Diane Gibbons, Stephen Gibbons, Lauren Brosious. She is survived by 18 great-grandchildren. Pat is also survived by longtime companion and friend Gerald Straup, Hatboro PA. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, September, 16, 2016 after 9:30 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Rd. Warminster until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914. The family kindly requests that no flowers be sent.
