Patricia Calhoun Obituary
Funeral service for Patricia Calhoun, age 67, of Hollister, Oklahoma, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023, at Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Marty Calhoun and Sean Brady officiating.
Patricia passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
A family and friends gathering will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
She was born August 9, 1956, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Francisco and Maria Dominguez Gonzales. She moved with her family to southwest Oklahoma at a very early age. She married Ernest Fatjo in April of 1978, at Frederick. She later married Kevin Calhoun on August 14, 1999, in Frederick. Patricia worked at Centra Leathergoods, Frederick Memorial Hospital, Metzeler Automotive, and most recently in housekeeping at Kiowa Casino. Patricia was an amazing mom and was passionate about her family. She enjoyed camping, barbecuing, shopping, traveling, and listening to music, especially Spanish music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Faustino Gonzales, Emilio Gonzales, and Arthur Gonzales; and five sisters: Lydia Rivas, Tomasa Martinez, Natividad Ornelas, Antonia Flores, and Florence Ramos.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin, of the home; four children: Christine Flores (Anthony), of Apache, Christopher Fatjo (Teresa), of Frederick, Jonathan Fatjo (Sally), of Cache, and Joshua Fatjo (Teresa Perez); three sisters: Carlotta Rodriguez, of Orlando, Florida, Julia Hernandez, of Grand Prairie, Texas, Estella Nicholas and husband Melvin, of Plainview, Texas; four brothers: Frank Gonzales Jr. and wife Linda, of Lawton, Benny and Imelda Gonzales, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Eddie Gonzales, of Frederick, and Lupe Gonzales and wife Susan, of Wichita Falls, Texas; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300 Rockville, MD 208521, or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116, in loving memory of Patricia Calhoun.
