Patricia McCarrell Cassell

Patricia McCarrell Cassell, 81, of Seagrove, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 at Autumn Care of Biscoe in Biscoe.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. Bruce McLanahan and Rev. Rich McCarrell.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Patricia was born in Cicero, Illinois on August 8, 1944 to Bill and Majorie McCarrell and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1972. Ms. Cassell worked at Trinity Christian Academy for several years, later staying at the home to raise her children. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She deeply loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them as well as attending their ball games. After relocating to North Carolina, Ms. Cassell and her husband enjoyed their retirement life, particularly the time they had to travel. In her free time Patricia volunteered at Randolph Hospital as well as worked part time at the North Carolina Zoo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Rhene Cassell, parents, William Robert McCarrell, Jr. and Majorie Evenhouse McCarrell.
Survivors: daughter, Tricia Beane and husband, Derek, of Seagrove, son, Robert Cassell and wife, Kelly, of Coleridge, sisters, Barb Sheddan and husband, Frank, Bev Dillard and husband, Terry, both of Tennessee, brothers, Bill McCarrell and wife, Hope, of Alabama, Rich McCarrell and wife, Sue, of Michigan, grandchildren, Jordan Cassell, Jacob Cassell, Lyndsey Cassell, Mackenzie Beane, Makayla Beane, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm, Saturday, Shiloh Baptist Church, Ramseur and other times at the home of Robert and Kelly Cassell.
