Patricia "Pat" Chapman

Patricia "Pat" Chapman of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 89 years old. She was born to loving parents Virgil Lee Welch and Annie O'Vela (Hooper) Welch on July 27, 1934 in Tulia, Texas. Pat married Sherman "Buddy" Chapman on May 13, 1964 in Amarillo, Texas.
Family was always Pat's driving force. Pat had a green thumb and loved gardening and growing flowers. Pat loved to cook and was forever a hostess to all that came to her door.
Pat is survived by husband, Sherman "Buddy" Chapman of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Pam Blais and husband Phil of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Phil T. Blais and wife Cathy of Fairview, Texas, Briana McKee of Frisco, Texas, Patrick McKee and wife Jen of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tarah Recker and husband Matt of McKinney, Texas; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Blais, Cooper Blais, Samantha McKee, Paxton Recker, Bennett Recker; nieces, Leonida Cleveland and husband Speedy, Megayla O'Rear and husband Roy, Trixie Jones and husband Mike, Carolyn Hacker and husband Steve, Brenda Rich and husband Buddy, Mononette Wells and husband Danny; nephews, Michael Knox, Mark Knox, Jeff Sheperd and wife, Pam.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Jay Brent McKee and Joe Bryan McKee Jr. Her four sisters Betty Jane Thornton, Ernestine Gregg, Maida Lee Weaver, Gay Knox; brother Ronnie Welch.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
The family will receive friends during a reception following the service at the funeral home.
