Patricia Clickener, 83, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025.

Patricia was born in 1942, in Waukegan, Illinois to Corwin and Josephine (Lestic) Clickener. She grew up in Harvel, Illinois and went on to the University of Illinois. Patricia had an extensive career in advertising with the Leo Burnett Company and later ran a private marketing consultancy working with several national brands. She advocated for those with hearing loss through the Hearing Loss Association of America (formerly SHHH). Patricia was a supporter of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to bring lifelong opportunities for others to make and appreciate music. Patricia was a member of St. Michael of Old Town Catholic Church.

Patricia, having lost her hearing as a young adult, was an early adopter of cochlear implant technology. She was able to hear music for the first time in nearly two decades at the Chicago Symphony. Patricia will be remembered for her wisdom, her love of life, her friendship, and her sense of humor.

She is survived by her brother, John R. Clickener; her sister, Mary L. Stanton; her sisters-in-law, Joan Clickener and Pat Clickener; nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Robert R. Clickener.

Family and friends will meet on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at St. Michael Church in Old Town, 1633 North Cleveland Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60614 for a 9:30 a.m. Visitation followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass.
