Patricia Jo "Patty" Culver 82, of Easton, MO. passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 13, 1941 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Josephine and Lyle Harvey. She graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart and married Steve Culver on August 26, 1961 in St. Joseph. She was a homemaker who enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs, and supporting her husband Steve in all his philanthropic activities in the community, but most of all Patty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved being around her family, she always had a smile and you never saw get upset. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Easton, MO. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Mike and Delbert Harvey. Survivors include husband, Steve Culver of the home, five children: Chris Culver, Cari (Danny) Rich, Curt Culver, Craig (Jennifer) Culver, and Casey (Shelly) Culver all of St. Joseph, MO, 12 grandchildren: Amy (Ben) Lippert, Sara (Patrick) Lile, Ashley (Alex) Bridges, Megan Culver, Melissa Culver, Amanda (Austin) Reed, Stephen (Chassie) Culver, Mitchell (Kelsey) Culver, Holly (Adam) Ambrosius, Addy, Anna, Ella and Lila Culver, 13 great grandchildren and two sisters in law, Patty Harvey, and Mary Ann Harvey.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Fr. Stephen Hansen Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm, Friday at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the St. Joseph Catholic Academy, Mir House of Prayer, or the UCP United Cerebral Palsy association of Buchanan County.
