Patricia Ann (Saznski) D'Amore of Allentown passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on October 28, 2025. At the time, Patricia was a patient in hospice care at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus.in Bethlehem.
Patricia was born in Allentown on October 25, 1944, and was the only living child of parents Marvin John Saznski and Theresa M. (Munjone) Saznski. Patricia lived most of her life on the East Side of Allentown. She attended school at Our Lady Help of Christians and graduated from Allentown Central Catholic in 1962. While in school she made several lifelong friends, a few of which were by her side until the very end of her life. After high school, Patricia attended Allentown Business School and graduated with a secretarial certificate. She worked several office and retail jobs until settling into her final career with the United States Postal Service. She was a proud and active member of the American Postal Workers Union while working at the USPS.
After her retirement, she worked in her favorite position - full-time grandmother. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Patricia's great hope was that one day our political system would prioritize humanity and care of others over war and profit; she worked toward making that goal possible.
She is survived by her son Michael of Allentown, his wife Evette, who was more like a daughter than a daughter-in-law, grandsons Louis and John and grand-kitties Jalapeno and Tiny.
At Patricia's request, there will be no services. At a later date, a celebration of life will be planned by her family.
Arrangement have been entrusted to the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Allentown. Online condolences may be made at www.odonnellfuneralhomes.com To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Patricia, please visit our floral store.
