Patricia DeCosta Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roan Family Funeral Home of Epsom - Still Oaks Chapel on Dec. 2, 2024.
BARNSTEAD - On November 28, 2024 Patricia DeCosta passed away unexpectedly.
Tricia, age 66, was born in Boston, MA to her parents Frank "Lefty" Gaffney and Jean Gaffney, later married to Walter Parenteau.
After their 9 year "courtship", in 1992 Tricia married her husband of 32 years, Mark DeCosta.
Tricia Graduated from Stoughton High School and later became a Certified Medical Assistant. She worked for several years as a pre-school teacher, where her love of children and her caring nature shined through. For several years Tricia worked as a phlebotomist for American Red Cross. Throughout her life, Tricia used her medical training and talent to help many, many people.
Tricia is survived by her husband, Mark; daughters, Katie (Craig) Swicegood and Becca (David) Browne, and son, Jacob. Tricia was a middle child of 8, with brothers Jack, Micheal, Joey and predeceased by Robert, and Sisters Chrissy, Jill and predeceased by Susan. She will be missed by her 7 grandchildren, Cordelia, Tyler, Jordan, Alainnah-Kate, Lilly, Max and Carrick.
Tricia was, and is, a gentle soul, but in no way reserved. Beautiful in both her appearance and manner, when Tricia was in the room, you knew it. She made each of her children feel loved and she cherished her grandchildren. As a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and wife, Tricia leaves behind a space in our hearts that will never be filled.
A Celebration of Tricia's Life will take place at a time and place to be determined. Donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation www.epilepsy.com/give. The Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel in Epsom assisted the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer a condolence please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
