Patricia Dixon Obituary
She was born in Ware County to the late John Luther Aldridge and Goldie Irene Strickland Aldridge. She was employed with Southern Bell and Bell South before retiring with AT&T after 45 years of service. She was a member of New Hope Fellowship and the Cherokee Council Telephone Pioneers.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a son, Edward M. Dixon; and four siblings, Mary Dallas Cook, Earl Aldridge, Tommy Aldridge, and Juanita Hall.
She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Dixon of Waycross; a son, Rhon Dixon (wife Diane) of Waycross; two grandchildren, Kelsea Dixon and Chase Carter; three great grandchildren, Makayla Dixon, Makenzee Dixon, and Maliyah Dixon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 30, 2024) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 o'clock.

Miss Pat was always very kind to my brother (John Johnson) and me (Ann Johnson Harmon). We were childhood friends with Rhonda and Ron. She included us when able, she had to know we didn't have the means otherwise. I have very fond memories of our times together. She is now having a wonderful time in heaven with family and friends. She will be missed. Love to you, Rhonda and Ron.
