Patricia A. Dunsing

South Yarmouth - Patricia A. (Croker) Dunsing of South Yarmouth, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of Howard "Bud" Dunsing, Jr., with whom she shared 69 years of marriage.

Patricia was a dedicated employee of the City of Brockton and the Brockton Public Schools before retiring. Her greatest joy came from life's simple pleasures: baking delicious pies, painting, working on needlepoint, and spending time at the beach. Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness.

She is survived by her son Howard "Buddy" Dunsing, III and his wife Nancy; her daughter Denise O'Donnell and the late Kenneth O'Donnell; and her sister Joanne Dombrosky. Patricia was predeceased by her brother Louis Croker and sisters Betty Crowley and Gloria Pilkington.

A loving grandmother, Patricia is also survived by her grandchildren: Melissa Dunsing and her husband Joshua Poisson, Sarah Dunsing, Kerry O'Donnell-Arnold and her husband Daniel Arnold, and Molly O'Donnell and her fiancé David Barrows. Additionally, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, who were dear to her.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 3, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Morris O'Connor Chapel, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA. Burial will be private and held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
