Patricia A. Federico

Patricia Ann "Lavin" Federico, age 70, died peacefully on Oct. 25. She was the loving daughter of the late James and Margaret (Coleman) Lavin and was born on September 24, 1955, and grew up in Randolph, Massachusetts, where she attended Randolph High School Class of 1973. She went on to study nursing at Northeastern University, earning her degree with dedication and compassion.

While attending college, she met the love of her life, Robert Federico. They fell in love and married on March 3, 1973 . They shared 47 wonderful years of marriage and raised their children in Bridgewater. Patricia was a hard worker, always lending a helping hand and taking pride in doing things herself-whether it was building houses alongside her husband, tiling, painting, or tackling home projects.

A stay-at-home mom for many years, she devoted herself to raising her children, Nicole and Matthew, in Bridgewater. She had a deep love for music, especially Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban, and enjoyed dancing and traveling-taking cruises and exploring new places was her favorite. In her younger years Pat loved camping in New Hampshire and later on spending peaceful afternoons near the ocean, on the Cape or in Plymouth. Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures-sitting on the front porch listening to the rain or watching a snowstorm, playing dice games with family on Friday nights, and cherishing every moment spent with her granddaughter Ella, who brought her endless happiness.

Patricia will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and caring nature. She loved to laugh, stay active, and was always surrounded by those she loved most.

She is survived by her husband Robert, her daughter Nicole L. Federico of Bridgewater, and her son Matthew R. Federico of Bridgewater; her granddaughter Ella of Bridgewater, and her brother James and Jean Lavin of Falmouth, Linda M. Lavin of Bridgewater, and Christine M. Gerokoulis of Bridgewater and her late husband Stephen. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Spending time with her family always brought a smile to her face. Patricia will be forever remembered and will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

All are cordially invited to the Chapman Funeral and Cremation, 35 Spring ST EAST BRIDGEWATER on Sat. Nov. 1st . A visitation period will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am. A funeral home service will begin at 11:30am. Burial will be private.
