Patricia "Patty" Carol Fletcher, age 60 of Rich Hill, Missouri died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler, Missouri. She was born July 16, 1965 to Rodger and Carolyn Pockrus Wilson in Raleigh, South Carolina. Patricia preferred being called Patty by those close to her.

Patricia "Patty" Fletcher was a devoted wife, mother and caregiver. The third born of five children to Rodger and Carolyn Wilson, Patty spent most of her childhood in Madison, Kansas, where she graduated high school a year early. She married her husband David soon after, and they built a life together, celebrating 45 years of marriage. They raised three biological children and adopted two more. Patty dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home mom before finding another calling: 20 years as a foster parent, opening her heart and home to teenagers in need. Remarkably some of those teenagers, now grown adults, remained in touch with Patty, a testament to the lasting impact she had on their lives.

Patty's personal interests included cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, nurturing her potted plants, getting lost in a good book, camping, and family game nights – especially Monopoly. But her greatest joy was spending quality time with her grandkids, and she took immense pride in those relationships, often talking about them with a sparkle in her eye. Patty's wishes were to be an organ donor–allowing her devotion to others to continue on for many more lifetimes.

Patty is survived by her husband, David Fletcher; five children, Kent Fletcher (Destiny), Jordan Fletcher (Jessica), Aaron Fletcher (Amy), Austin Fletcher (Jordan) and Lesli Fletcher; 11 grandchildren, Bryant, John, Bryson, Briley, Weston, Kinsley, Cooper, Korbin, Kaiden, Brynleigh and Lainey; two siblings, Lynn Wilson (Denise) and Teresa Brack; sister-in-law, Becky Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Rodger and Carolyn Wilson; little brother, Rodger Wilson; and little sister, Sheila Wilson.
