Patricia Ann Foley

To reflect on life is to turn the pages of a story still being written, a story of laughter and tears, of dreams pursued, and lessons learned. Life is not measured by the number of years we live but by the love we share and the memories we leave behind.

Patricia Ann Foley was born on October 22, 1957 in Karnes City, Tx. to Betty and Clarence Kinney Sr. Patricia gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a lifelong member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church until God called her home.

Patricia married Charles E. Foley and they were blessed with 3 beautiful daughters Sharon, Sheila and Sherry. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Patricia loved her some Spurs and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. She would pull up to any dice or poker game and take their money. She took pride and boasted in doing so. Patricia also loved her some scratch off tickets. No matter what she did, she loved to laugh and have fun.

On October 28, 2025, the Lord called Patricia home. She was surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Ernest Foley; father: Clarence James Kinney Sr.; brothers: Charles Ray Adams Sr. and Clarence James Kinney Jr.; her grandmother: Lucille B. McNeil (Big Mama); stepson: Aaron Smith; nephews: Carl Vernon Rose and Brian Mitchell Rose.

She is survived by her three beautiful daughters: Sharon K. Kinney (Tridall), Sheila E. Kinney (James) Sherry L. Kinney (Ervin) and stepson, Sylvester Smith; her loving mother: Betty J. Kinney; her loving sister: Mary L. Rose-Guidry; godbrother: Willie L. Foley Jr.; 10 precious grandchildren: Christopher O. Williams (Brittany) Curtis O. Williams Jr.(Shawniqua), Roddrick J. Kinney (Esmeralda), Dre' Vaughn M. Kinney, D'Andre M. Kinney, Tyree M. Robinson, Char'dazja J. Kinney (Audrey), Ma'kaela E. Kinney, Celeste A. Smith and Sylvester E. Smith Jr.; 11 great grandchildren; her nannie: Carolyn M. Foley; her favorite cousin: Gwendolyn E. Foley; one uncle: Elmorris Foley Sr. (Aunt Carlotte); three aunts: Brenda L. Jefferson-Gratton (Gilbert), Ivory J. Williams, Paulan K. Perkins (Percy Sr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
