Patricia Lynn Garrison

Patricia "Patti" Lynn Garrison, age 66, passed away at her home in Goshen, Utah on April 8, 2022 after a long battle with type 1 diabetes. She fought until the very end, defying the odds countless times, proving just how stubborn she could truly be. She departed this world on her own terms.

Born June 27th, 1955 to Soph and Juanita Kourbelas. She is survived by her eldest son Ryan Oliverson, granddaughter Daisy May Garrison and preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Garrison and youngest son Wyatt Garrison.

Patti was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother (yia-yia), godmother (nouna) and teacher. She loved her family immensely and took great pride in being a teacher. Known to many of her students as Mrs. G, she lived her life in service of others and brought happiness to those in her life. As anyone who knew her can attest, her love and kindness were infectious. A special person is no longer with us today and she will be deeply missed by friends and family. In reference to a favorite saying of hers… "We'll leave when you're ready", On this day she was finally ready.

Funeral services will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City on Friday, April 15, 2022. Church services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services to immediately follow at the Farmington City Cemetery. If anyone would like to attend her viewing it will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, on Thursday April 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
