Patricia Gleichman Obituary
Patricia was born on June 5, 1935 to Charles and Helen Meyers and grew up in Solon, IA. She attended the University of Iowa where she met Richard Gleichman from Rockford, IL. They wed on June 9, 1956, and together they shared 67 years of marriage.
Pat and Dick moved to Rockford and raised three children. Pat enjoyed being involved in all her children's activities. She volunteered with Junior League and was president. Pat will be remembered as a loving woman with a beautiful smile.
In 2020, Pat and Dick moved to West Des Moines to be closer to family after spending their retirement years in Palm Desert, CA.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard; three children, Kenton (Cathy) Gleichman, Laurie Chrisy, and Craig (Pam) Gleichman; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The family will gather on Saturday, January 20, 2024 for a private service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice, Ankeny, IA.
