Patricia "Pat" Cooke Hathorn, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 83 in Fairhope, Alabama. Pat was born on May 2, 1942, to Mitchell Eugene and Nan Maki Cooke in Pensacola, Florida.

Pat was a graduate of Moss Point High School and went on to gain her nursing degree. Pat strived to do more in her life and went on to get her BS degree and became a CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist).

Pat met and married her "Honey", Donald Hathorn, Sr. Pat and Donald shared 22 wonderful years together, taking care of one another until his death in 2023. Pat was a very independent lady up until her last day on Earth. She was a loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, friend and neighbor and was loved by many.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Helen Sikes; and sons, Gavin Brian George and Ronald Kevin George.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Melisa and George Parsons of Winnie, TX, Donald and Debra Hathorn of Baycliff, TX and Tonya and John Keller of Mont Belvieu, TX; her sister, Lisa Thompson; her grandchildren, Tyler and Landen Underwood, Hunter and Hayden Hathorn, Heather Pettit and Kelli and Kayla George; and nephew, Bryant Thompson.

She will be greatly missed but she is smiling again because she has been reunited with her "Honey".

Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, is assisting the family.
