Patricia (Metcalfe) Hauber, Age 91 • Scott Township, PA
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother,Patricia (Metcalfe) Hauber, age 91, of Scott Township, PA. She passed peacefully on November 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. Patricia has now been reunited in Heaven with her cherished husband, William G. Hauber, and her parents, Kenneth and Martha “Maxine” Metcalfe.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Brett (Mary) Hauber, Mark Hauber, and Deborah (David) Nugro; her grandchildren Connie, Holly, Lindsay, William, Christina, Tyler, and Joshua; and her four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind her dear sister,Nancy Mazek of Tallahassee, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Patricia’s greatest joy in life was her family. She took immense pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren, celebrating every milestone with love and enthusiasm. In her youth, she adored her horse, Cracker Jack, a treasured memory she carried throughout her life and joyfully shared in stories with others. Patricia loved traveling and embracing new experiences. One of her fondest highlights was riding roller coasters at the age of 80, laughing with the same excitement she had as a young girl. Her favorite hobbies included reading, word search’s and jigsaw puzzles. She retired from the U.S. Army, where she served with dedication as the secretary to the Director of Logistics.
