Patricia Ann (Gerger) Herzberg, 79, of Franklin, Tennessee, entered eternal rest on September 4, 2025.
Pat was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 12, 1945 to Mathew and Joan (Schwarz) Gerger and was the oldest of their six children. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Birch Run, Michigan.
Patty married the love of her life, Jim Herzberg, in 1968 and they had two children, Matt and Michele. The greatest joy in her life was her family.
Patty always made everyone feel special, including family, friends, and strangers. She was generous, compassionate, and loved helping anyone she could. Patty was an avid gardener and always maintained a beautiful yard full of plants, flowers, and rocks. She also had a knack for decorating and loved family heirlooms, antiques, and all kinds of treasures.
Pat is survived by her son, Matt Herzberg, daughter, Michele (Steve) Fort, grandchildren, Savannah Fort, Steven (Isabelle) Fort, and Sydney Fort, sisters, Nancy (Tom) Schiestel, Janine (Paul) Maddock, brother, Dave (Rita) Gerger, and many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by Jim, her beloved husband of 53 years, her parents, and brothers Don Gerger and Dan Gerger.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation starting one hour prior.
