Patricia Hinkley Obituary

Patricia Ellen Hinkley, age 72, of Meriden passed away on September 1, 2025. She was born in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late William F. and Leah Farr Hinkley. Patricia is survived by her siblings, Gail Totzke of Meriden, William "Bill" (Elizabeth) Hinkley of Mesquite, Texas, and Veronica (James) Gansley of Wallingford, her 8 nieces and 3 nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her brother Robert Hinkley. Patricia was a born-again Christian who lived with the blessed assurance of Heaven. She deeply loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as her church and church family. Patricia cherished time spent with her own family and friends, always treasuring those relationships. She found joy in the outdoors-planting vegetables and flowers, feeding the birds, and taking in the beauty of God's creation. Patricia also expressed her creativity through photography and painting, and she delighted in traveling, especially on cruises. She will be deeply missed, especially by her sister Gail, with whom she shared a home for the past 3 ½ years. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday September 27th at 11am in the Meriden Hills Baptist Church 139 Charles St, Meriden, CT. Wallingford Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
