Patricia “Pat” Hite passed away on January 9th at the age of 84. She was born in Warsaw on May 8, 1941, to George Creakbaum and Mildred (Kinch) Creakbaum. She was a graduate of Warsaw High School,

Patricia L. Hite, known affectionately as Pat, was born on May 8, 1941, in Warsaw, Indiana. She was the daughter of George and Mildred and passed away on January 9, 2026, at the Warsaw Meadows Care Center.

Pat was a hardworking individual whose career spanned various roles and industries. In her younger years, she contributed her efforts at Dittos Market and Yoder's Meat Market before spending many fulfilling years as a bartender with the American Legion and the VFW.

Pat had a zest for life; she hardly knew a stranger; she loved listening to Elvis and liked watching shows like "The Bachelor" and "Dancing with the Stars." A passionate collector of elephants, her unique interests extended to trying her luck at BINGO nights and casinos.

Pat's legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her children: Rick Hite of Warsaw, Vickie (Dennis) Kennedy of Warsaw, and Jane Gibson of Fort Wayne. Pat's grandchildren, Ryan (Sichan) Kennedy, Wyatt (Amanda) Gibson, Stevie (Paul) Powers, Brittaney (Brandon) Handy, Courtney Gibson, and Hunter Gibson, as well as her ten great-grandchildren, were beacons of joy in her life. Additionally, she shared a special bond with her sister, Elaine Miller of Oviedo, Florida.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, George Creakbaum and Mildred (Kinch) Creakbaum, and her siblings: Rex Creakbaum, Don Creakbaum, Dale Creakbaum, Raymond Creakbaum, and June Creakbaum, as well as her brother and sister-in-laws, Loretta Creakbaum and Nondus Creakbaum, and Ralph Miller.

Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. A Life Celebration Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be held the following day on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow to Oakwood Cemetery.
