Patricia Hooks, 92, passed away February 2, 2026. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 11, 1933, and grew up there. She and her husband, Charlie, retired to Amelia Island, Florida in 1995.
Pat proudly worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Atlanta for 35 years. After her retirement, Pat was very involved in the Amelia Island art community and participated in the Amelia Island Art Association, where she was one of the resident artists displaying her wonderful watercolor paintings. She also routinely volunteered with the Amelia Island Shrimp Festival and other local events and activities.
Pat is survived by her sister Bobbie Wright, daughter Susan (Jonathan) Plumb, son Billy (Carol) Cole, grandchildren Haley, Lindsey, Kyle, Austin and April. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Hooks and brother James Harrison.
A memorial service to celebrate life will be announced at a later time.
