In Loving Memory of Patricia Berenice Garcia Rios March 13, 1979 – July 31, 2025
Patricia Berenice Garcia Rios, 46, of Whittier, California, passed away peacefully after a long battle against pancreatic cancer on July 31, 2025 surrounded by the ones she loved. Born on March 13, 1979, in Mexicali, Baja California, Patricia lived a life full of love, faith, and service to others.
Patricia was a devoted wife to Alejandro Garcia and a loving mother to her four children: Jasmine Gutierrez, Andrew Garcia, Alexa Garcia, and Mike Garcia. She was also a proud and cherished grandmother to Kamila Diaz, Kataleya Arzate, and Karla Garcia. She is survived by her beloved mother, Ana Ibarra, who remained a strong presence in her life.
For about 10 years, Patricia worked for SEIU, where she brought not only dedication and professionalism but also a deep passion for her work and the people she served. She was a woman of strong faith, deeply devoted to her church and her relationship with God. Her spiritual strength guided her in every aspect of her life.
Patricia loved spending time with her family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. She had a generous heart and always put others before herself. Her compassion, kindness, and unwavering support touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her selflessness, and her deep love for her family, family in Christ and her community. Though her time with us was cut short, the impact she made will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
