In loving memory of Patricia "Pattie" Olivas Iverson
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Pattie Olivas Iverson, passed away on April 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Cipriano and Donna Nelson Olivas in Walnut Creek, CA, Pattie cherished her family and friends above all else.
Pattie's zest for life was evident in her love for the outdoors, volunteering for Ducks Unlimited, and her passion for traveling to South Lake Tahoe, CA, and the San Francisco Bay area to visit dear friends. Her favorite places were wherever her loved ones gathered, and she shared her husband Craig's passion for boating.
Throughout her life, Pattie held various jobs, but her most significant accomplishment was her career at Hill Air Force Base. Starting as a Clerk Typist in 1981, she worked diligently to gain knowledge and become an Inventory Management Specialist. Her dedication and expertise were recognized when she was selected as one of 150 out of 4500 applicants for a special program requiring two different disciplines in academics or a logistics degree. This opportunity propelled her career into Program Management, where she excelled and received numerous awards before retiring in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and dedication.
Pattie is survived by her favorite daughter and only child, Angel (Jack) Johansen; granddaughter, Shaylee Johansen; grandson, Seth Johansen; great-granddaughter, Jayden Ivy Gayle; sister, Beverly (Bob) Seeger; and brother, Arthur (Felda) Olivas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig; mother, father, and one brother, Wayne S. Olivas.
The family extends their gratitude to Dr. John Hemmersmeier for his exceptional care and understanding, as well as the staff at Active Home Health, Hospice, & Personal Care, especially Emily and Mindy, for their kindness and outstanding support.
Per Pattie's request, no funeral services will be held. A wake will be held in her honor at a later date for her special friends and family. Cremation by Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
Pattie's spirit, warmth, and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
