Dear Mr. Jacobs and Family,

My sincerest sympathy to all of you on the tragic an untimely death of your beloved wife and mother.

I remember Mrs. Jacobs well from the 1980's when I visited your home every week to give Laura a piano lesson. I remember thinking to myself what a happy family the Jacobs were due, undoubtedly, to loving and happy parents who conveyed this attitude to their children as well.

I always noticed that "Patti" herself was a very joyful and happy person, possessing a heartfelt joy and happiness which, I am sure, was a result of her deep love for our Lord Jesus. As I recall, she usually had a big smile on her face, was full of laughter, and, I suspect, was a constant example of love and encouragement to everyone with whom she interacted; once again, this emanating from her own personal love of Christ and her Catholic faith which she lived every day.

I especially remember her tending to and playing with her "pal" Marie back then (who was just a baby at the time). I suspect she was a real fun wife and mother who made everyone's life happier just by her being there. I know all of you (after our Lord) were the most important part of her life.

May Patti be in heaven. May God bless and uphold all of you during this sad time.

Our deepset sympathy to George, Georgie, Laura & Marie. We will miss our dearest friend forever. She brought laughter, fun and good food whenever we were together. We will miss our great times playing games together with so much laughter, which we really never get enough of. She had a great life even with all her illnesses.
