It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mama, Patricia Jane Dunn Jones who went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Lakeland, Florida, to Frank and Mae Dunn, Jane was a beloved member of Bethel Baptist Church in the Socrum community of Lakeland, Florida, and Scott’s Creek Baptist Church in Sylva, North Carolina.

Jane was known for her kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family and friends.

Jane was the cherished mother of Todd Jones and Tonya Jones Hensley and mother-in-law of Ron Hensley, all of Cullowhee, NC. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Brandy Baudrand, Crystal LeMot, Morgan Hensley, and McKayla Hensley; a sister, Susan Walker; nine great grandchildren, Jonah, Seth, Iris, Daniel, Karma, Wren, Mileigh, Emmaleigh, and Jayden; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Jane will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, she touched many with her warmth, wisdom, and humor.

Jane dedicated her life to her family, always striving to make a positive impact on their lives and lead them in the ways of her Savior. Jane found joy in always remembering friends and family members on special occasions and creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

A service to honor Jane and her beloved husband of 54 years, Logan Monroe Jones, Jr's lives will be held on December 18th at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and share stories, celebrate their legacies, and support one another through this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a nonprofit of your choosing, reflecting Jane and Logan’s lifelong commitment to those in need.

Jane and Logan will live on in the hearts of all who knew them. May they rest in the arms of one another and their beloved Lord Jesus.
