Patricia Joray Obituary
Patricia F. Joray of Ellenville, NY passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was 76 years old. Patricia was born on February 16, 1947 in Ellenville, NY; she was the daughter of Vernon Schwab and Myrtle (Donnelly) Schwab.
A lifelong resident of Ellenville, Patricia spent most of her years as a homemaker and caregiver for family and friends. She enjoyed her long walks from Cragsmoor to Ellenville, collecting dice and playing cards, taking pictures, feeding the birds and squirrels and tending to her plants.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 54 years, John H. Joray Sr., her children, Joanne Joray, Joe Joray and Jeff Joray; her brother, Peter Schwab (Theresa); her sisters, Barbara Schwab, Mary Schwab, Terrie Farkas (Pete) and Nikki Traphagen; her grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Latoya, Barney, Jennifer, Jessica, John, Hayley and Teaghan as well as many great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousin.
Patricia was predeceased by her son, John Joray and her brother, Vernon “Jake” Schwab.
Services will be held privately.
