Patricia Labbe Obituary

Visit the Funk Funeral Home - Bristol website to view the full obituary.
Patricia "Pat" (Levesque) Labbe, 83, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Patricia was born on March 23, 1942, in Frenchville, Maine, to Henry and Jane (Fournier) Levesque. She is preceded by her sisters Joan Levesque and Aline Mayo; and her brothers Joseph, Romeo, Allyre, O'Neil, Lawrence and Gilbert.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Gerald "Jack" Labbe; her two daughters, Linda Fray, and Lisa Achim and her husband Michael; her grandchildren, Marc Achim and his wife Bobbi, Brian Achim and his wife Olivia, and Elizabeth Fray; her great-granddaughter, Cornelia; and her brothers, Emile Levesque of East Haddam CT and Claude Levesque of Springvale, Maine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was one of eleven children in a large and lively family. Growing up with her many brothers and sisters helped shape the deep love of family that would define her life. She cherished the many nieces and nephews who became part of her extended circle.

In her younger years, Patricia loved to dance. She especially enjoyed French-Canadian fiddle music, which she affectionately called "zing-zing." No matter the occasion, she could rarely resist getting up to dance-particularly when her favorite song, "Johnny Be Good," was playing and her husband Jack was by her side. She was always happiest when everyone could gather together, and especially enjoyed playing the card game "Scat!" where she was very competitive.

Patricia lived a large part of her life in Bristol, CT, where she worked for many years at Tollman Spring.

Patricia shared 62 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Gerald "Jack" Labbe. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. She especially loved family picnics, where the large extended family she treasured could gather, share stories, and enjoy each other's company.

In recent years, one of Patricia's greatest joys was meeting and spending time with her great-granddaughter, Cornelia.

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of family gatherings, and the joy she found in music, dancing, and the people she loved most. Patricia's memory will live on in the many lives she touched and in the traditions of family and togetherness that she cherished so deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (March 14, 2026) at 10:30 AM at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Mausoleum, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Saturday between 9 and 10 AM.
