Pawtucket – Patricia A. (McGill) Lanoie, 80, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Lanoie for sixty loving years. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Theresa B. (Brouillard) McGill.
Patricia was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School and worked as a babysitter throughout high school for many eastside families. She went on to work at Rand (Schoolhouse Candy) in Pawtucket, Teknor Apex and most recently at Texas Instruments/ Engineered Materials Solutions in Attleboro, for over thirty years where she was a slitting machine operator until her retirement.
Patricia was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty years.
Beside her beloved husband, she leaves three children, Michael D. Lanoie of Central Falls, Mark A. Lanoie and his wife, Helen, of Greenville, and Melissa R. Lanoie of Warwick; four grandchildren, Michael T. Lanoie of Pawtucket, Patrick D. Lanoie and his wife, Jennifer, of Johnston, Molly C. Lanoie and Hannah R. Lanoie both of Greenville; three siblings, Donald Howe and his wife, Claire, of Pascoag, Jane Durand of Pawtucket, and Cheryl Chandonnait and her husband, Richard, of Concord, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Howe and the sister-in-law of the late Carol Howe and Robert Durand.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Friday, August 16th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the VA Medical Center Providence, 830 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI 02908 would be appreciated. TrippFuneralHome.com
