Patricia Dale Lauria, age 88, peacefully passed away on July 17, 2025, at Mapleview Country Villa in Chardon, Ohio. She was born on May 15, 1937, in East Cleveland, Ohio, to Burton Dale and Virginia (nee Roberts) Floyd. Patricia graduated from Andrews School in Willoughby, Ohio.
She married Ralph M. Lauria and together they built a meaningful life raising three children, and Patricia cherished the time she spent with her family. She had a deep love for Golden Retrievers and was a talented and devoted trainer. A longtime member of the Cuyahoga Valley Golden Retriever Club, Patricia found great joy in working with her dogs and being part of that close-knit community.
Patricia was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother, known for her strength, warmth, and unwavering support of her family. She was known for her Christmas Eve gatherings shared with family and friends, as well as her famous stuffed pizza, and coffee cake.
She is survived by her children: Ginny (the late Norman) Oberle, Michael (Lisa) Lauria, and Mark (Sandy) Lauria; her grandchildren: Christopher (JaCoy) Oberle, Danielle (Ben Willard), Nicole (Rick Stallworth) Lauria, Domenic (Rachael) Lauria, Melissa Oberle and Christin Turk: and great-grandchildren: Ashtyn, Addilyn, Keegan, Sofia, Ricky, Carter, Rylie and Avery. She was also a beloved aunt to Kathy (John) Salzman, and the late Rick Squire.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother Tony Squire.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024, with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm.
