Patricia Little Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Jul. 5, 2025.
Patricia Jean Little, a beacon of light and love in her community, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in Pontiac, Michigan. Born on March 6, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Patricia's life was a testament to her friendly nature, faith-filled heart, and passionate spirit. She was the beloved wife of William Bajis and cherished sister to Carol Ann (Jim Stephens) Little and Maryellen (Dennis) Kozlowski. Patricia was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Albert and Caroline Little, and brothers-in-law John and Timothy Bajis. Family was the cornerstone of Patricia's life. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters, and her relationships with her brother-in-law Paul (Laura) Bajis, Jeff (Deborah) Bajis, and sister-in-law Mary Bajis were steeped in mutual respect and affection. Patricia was a beloved aunt, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter for her many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

A proud graduate of Cooley High School, Patricia built a successful career at prominent commercial insurance companies, including Travelers Insurance, Wausau Insurance, and AON Insurance. Her professional dedication was matched only by her commitment to her faith and community. Patricia was a devout Christian and an active member of the Church of the Redeemer in Southfield, where she was known as a pillar of strength and service.

Patricia's passion for civic engagement was evident in her involvement in Detroit election politics. She worked tirelessly to improve neighborhood safety and cleanliness, always striving to make her city a better place for all. Her political activism was an extension of her desire to serve and uplift those around her.

Patricia's love for animals was evident in her care for dogs and her joy in feeding the local birds with her bird feeders. Her home was a sanctuary for nature's creatures, reflecting her nurturing soul. Friends and family will fondly remember her wry sense of humor and the spark that kept everyone around her happy. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, embodying the true spirit of generosity.

Patricia's presence was a gift to those who knew her. Her laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support were the hallmarks of her character. As we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary woman, we also celebrate the remarkable life she led. Patricia Jean Little will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her memory will be cherished forever by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
