Patricia L. Matook

Patricia L. Matook, nee Ochsner, age 86, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Dear wife of the late Victor Matook, Sr., loving mother of Debra (Gary) Waters, Laura Matook, Patricia C. Matook and the late Victor Matook, Jr. Adoring and much loved grandmother of John (Anna) Matook, Daniel Matook, Brandon Waters and Jordan Matook. Proud great-grandmother of Emilia, Camilla and Elise.

Patricia was a life-long resident of Berwyn and Southern California and it was easy for her to establish long-standing friendships in both places. Her life was devoted to her family and her proud Irish heritage was always celebrated in a big way on St. Patricks Day. She enjoyed dancing and was a fitness enthusiast all her life. She volunteered and worked in the Berwyn community, ADT Security as a Dispatcher (Cicero and downtown Chicago) and later as a Security Lieutenant for The Walt Disney Company (Burbank, CA.). She would always help people she passed on her walks that would struggle with groceries or themselves up their porch steps and many of them were much younger than herself. She knew she was blessed all her life and her gratitude was always met with wanting to give back.

Patricia was the daughter of John and Marion Ochsner, sister of the late Marian (Ignatius) McGuire, the late Shirley (Eric) Carlsen, the late John (Agnes) Ochsner, the late Michael (Kathleen) Ochsner, Sr. and Daniel (Josie) Ochsner, all who she loved so dearly. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who brought so much joy to her life.
