Patricia Ann McDermott

Patricia Ann McDermott, 86, of Ocean Isle Beach NC, went to her eternal home on August 30, 2024.

Patricia, who was lovingly referred to as “Pat", was born on October 11, 1937, in New York to the late Patrick Colgan and Frances Erb. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Dennis “Mickey” McDermott and her sister Maureen Dini. 

Pat worked for NJ Bell as a supervisor. Pat and Mickey moved to Ocean Isle Beach and enjoyed their retirement by the ocean. She was an avid football fan and followed the season closely, always accompanied by her rescue chihuahuas. 

She is survived by her children; Maureen Swier and her husband Michael, Terri Presutti and her husband Tony, Tricia Horn, and Dan McDermott and his wife Anne; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Saturday, Septenber 21, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home Midland. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Jack Hartsell Memorial Chapel in Midland, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland NC.

Pat’s final resting place will be at Brunswick Funeral Service Memorial Gardens in Shallotte, NC.
