Patricia Ann McGaha, affectionately known as Memaw to her loved ones, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on January 7, 1956, Patricia's life was a testament to the love and care she bestowed upon her family and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of life.
After dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker, Patricia worked at Clinton High School. Her true calling, however, was found in the love and care she poured into her home, raising her children, Taunya (William) and Bubba (Michelle), alongside her devoted husband, Danny McGaha.
Patricia is predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Smith and her sisters, Marlene, Cheryl, and "Lil" Donna. She is survived by her brothers Junior, Mike, Carl, Daryl, and Tony, as well as her sisters Teresa, Cynthia, and Kim and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia's life was enriched by the laughter and joy of her grandchildren, Brittany and Bradley, and her great-grandchildren, Carson, Raylan, and Freya. She held a special remembrance for her great-grandchild Carter, who preceded her in death.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Patricia found solace in the beauty of the mountains and the tranquility of fishing. Her passion for NASCAR was matched only by her love for a good cup of coffee, enjoyed in the quiet of dawn or the company of friends and family. Patricia's kitchen was a haven of warmth, where she expressed her love through the meals she lovingly prepared, leaving a legacy of recipes and memories for her family to cherish.
Patricia's presence was a comforting constant in the lives of those who knew her. Her unwavering strength, boundless love, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held from 1-2PM, and a funeral service will be held at 2PM, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611. The burial will take place after the funeral service at Graceland West Cemetery
