Patricia “Pat” Meyer, age 84, of River Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Pat was born on March 2, 1941, in Portage, Wisconsin, to William and Agnes (Lytle) Huebner. She began her schooling in Portage and later completed her senior year at Hastings High School, where she graduated.
On October 7, 1961, Pat married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Meyer, in Hastings, Minnesota. Shortly after their marriage, the couple purchased a parcel of land on the west side of River Falls in 1962, where they built the home that would remain the heart of their family life for decades. Together, they created a place filled with love, faith, and lasting memories.
Pat lived a life rich in creativity, dedication, and service to others. She was a talented porcelain painter and proudly participated in a Minneapolis painting guild, sharing her artistic gifts with those around her. Equally admirable was her strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit through her tax preparation business, which she operated with great pride until her retirement in 2024.
Faith was the foundation of Pat’s life. A lifelong member of the Catholic Church, she was actively involved in the Catholic women’s group and lived her beliefs daily through kindness, compassion, and service to others. Family was always at the center of her world. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, finding joy in every gathering and milestone.
Pat found peace in nature and especially loved flowers and birds, with a special fondness for bluebirds and cardinals. She delighted in watching the wildlife surrounding her homestead, appreciating the beauty of God’s creation in the quiet moments of everyday life.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles Meyer; her children, Laura Rebholz, Linda (Perry Pugliano) Meyer, Charlie (Laura) Meyer, and Lana (Jeff) Meyer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers, Tom (Deb) Huebner and Richard (Dar) Huebner; in-laws, Stan Meyer, Paul Doffing, and Wendy Huebner; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes Huebner; her brother, Wayne (Joylyn) Huebner; her sister, Rita Doffing; and her brother, Ted Huebner.
Pat will be remembered for her unwavering faith, creative spirit, strong work ethic, and the deep love she shared with her family and community.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Pat will be at 11:00am on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church: 211 E. Division St. River Falls, WI 54022. A Visitation will start at 9:30am until the start of Mass. Burial will be at St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to The Sycamore Senior living or Kinnic Health Nursing and Rehab for flower gardens.
