Oh Patty, I just learned today of your passing and it's just so incredibly sad. The last time we talked it was about your grieve in losing Sheila and now we have lost you & so soon after losing her. The 2nd floor that we all lived on will be missing 2 of it's long time, very friendly, wonderful neighbors and my heart is breaking. I can't imagine what the Village will be without you. Please know how much Jake and I will miss you. I hope you and Sheila are dancing, smiling, and just so pleased to be together again. With much love, Wendy xxx

I´m so deeply sorry for your loss. Since I´ve moved away from where I grew up, coming back to "The Village" to see my mom always meant I´d get to see Patty too. We would catch up, connect, and I would feel that sense of familiarity and warmth that made home feel like home. I´ll truly miss those moments and the comfort of knowing she´d be part of them.
I always admired how Patty chose to live her life on her own terms, valuing her independence even when life placed heavy health and emotional burdens in her path, including the heartbreaking loss of her love. She faced so much with strength and determination. And Patty was never afraid to speak her mind. Patty said what she believed, honestly and directly, and that courage was part of what made her so memorable and so genuinely herself. Please know how much she was, and will always be, loved by her family and friends.
