Patricia Mulkey, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 20, 1964, to the late John E. O’Neal Sr. and Frances May O’Neal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John E. O’Neal Jr.; sister, Sherrie O’Neal Thompson; step-mother, Helen O’Neal; and mother-in-law, Sylvia Mulkey.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tim Mulkey; daughter, Kristin (Logan) Drain; brother, Jeff (Vickie) O’Neal; sister, Anita (Richard) Morrison; grandchildren, Hayzen Drain and Sawyer Drain; and father-in-law, Donald Mulkey.
She was a graduate of Calhoun High School and worked alongside her husband, Tim, at Capitol Creek Truck Repair until she became ill.
She was a woman who loved to travel, see new places, and meet new people, who would then become friends. Her favorite places to travel were Colorado and Wyoming, where she could enjoy the mountains and the beauty and peace they offered. A woman who could dress up with the best but loved her jeans and boots while in the arena, helping her husband and daughter do the things they loved. Trish, as those who loved her called her, touched the hearts of many and will be missed dearly.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Wells and Rev. Mike Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Clint Allemand, Joey Carpenter, Herbert Theriot, Brett Woody, Dustin Buchanan, Brad Smith, Bill Stone, and Todd Stoner. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy “Opie” Neal, Colton Stoner, Taylor O’Neal, and Christopher Fletcher.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
