Patricia Lynn “Trish” Moore Nason passed away peacefully in her home in Walthall, Mississippi on December 20, 2025. Trish was born June 26, 1950 in Rosedale, Mississippi to Lyda Jean Smith Moore and Jimmy Taylor Moore, Sr.

Trish could always be found at the ball fields when her girls were young. She was either playing on a team with her friends, coaching her daughters’ teams, or keeping score. When not playing or coaching softball, she enjoyed cooking, camping and skiing on the river, and managing the family business. Later in life, she took her love of the water and the kitchen and began cooking on commercial river boats along the Mississippi River. She was loved by all who sat at her table.

Trish was predeceased by her parents, her son in law, Darrius “Bo” Lancaster, her granddaughter, Morgan Paige Smith, siblings, Jimmy Taylor Moore, Jr., Robert Lewis Moore, Judith Marie Moore, and Pamela Ann Sumrall, niece Krista Marie Grupp, and nephew Wade Sumrall. She is survived by two daughters, Tonya Lancaster of West Point and Ashley (Nick) Provias of Aberdeen, along with 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of special nieces and nephews, and her beloved sister Janet Elizabeth Druey, with whom she shared a home and many adventures in her final years.

Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life at a later date.
