Patricia Zimmerman "Pat" Neff

Patricia Keller Zimmerman "Pat" Neff, 80, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Greenville.
A memorial service is being planned in Florida.
A native of Wake County, Pat was born to the late William and Ruth Upchurch Keller on January 30, 1945. In 1955 her family moved to Buena Vista, Virginia and in 1961 they moved to central Florida where she resided until this year. She was a 1963 graduate of Winter Park High School and the University of Central Florida. She loved working for GTE and the Winter Park Telephone Company. She sold PBX telecommunications systems for Stevens Communications and, for a while, was self-employed as a software instructor. Finally, she worked as a Box Office Manager for Seminole State College of Florida for a number of years.
Pat will be fondly remembered for her love of family and her enthusiastic personality. She loved the arts. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, creating miniatures, and following the world of performing arts. One of her favorite trips was to see the Tony Awards in 2004. More recently she traveled to Paris, France and became a fan of the Tour De France which she would follow every year by streaming video.
She loved the water, especially boating, whether it was sailing or powerboating.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a son, Steven Zimmerman.
She is survived by:
Son, Adam Zimmerman and wife, Stephanie, of Greenville;
Sister, Priscilla Hall of Fletcher, NC a nephew, nieces, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
