Patricia Jeanette Nicholas, 86, of Dewey, triumphantly entered the gates of Heaven on December 20, 2025.
Pat was born July 4, 1939, in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Ray and Annabelle (Gibbons) Woods. She attended high school in Tulsa.
Pat married the love of her life, Roddie G. Nicholas, on July 26, 1995, in Miami, Oklahoma. Rod was her soulmate and made her so happy. She loved their life together. She was truly the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved with all her heart and placed God and family above all else. She was always thinking about others and made a difference in every life she touched.
Pat's faith and love for God and Jesus carried her through good times and challenges. As her health declined, she was totally at peace and ready to go to her home in Heaven. Her loved ones are comforted knowing she is their guardian angel and is watching over them.
Pat had a wonderful sense of humor and would often tease her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She gave the best life advice and support.
John 3:16 was her favorite Bible verse: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
She and Rod attended Dewey Church of the Nazarene for more than 10 years.
Pat was the manager at Oklahoma Federal Credit Union in Bartlesville from 1979 to 2007. Prior to that she worked for the dentist Dr. Bobby Clark James and also spent some years as a stay-at-home mom.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Rod Nicholas; two children, Mike Teague, and Debbie Schramm and her husband, Dave; two brothers, Jim Woods, and Larry Woods and his wife Linda; stepchildren, Brett Nicholas and his wife Deena, Chay Nicholas, and Jubal Nicholas and his wife Lisa; 14 grandchildren, Michael Teague, Chase Stuart and wife Whitney and their son James, Ashley Teague, Brittany Teague and her son Blake, Chris Teague, Janessa Johnson, Jessica Gray, Jaden Gray, Jaleigh Gray, Makayla Nicholas, Fallyn Nicholas, Gabriele Nicholas, Jayme Spruce Clifton, and Clay Nicholas; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Annabelle and Ray Woods; sister-in-law, Gladys Woods; stepson, Blake Nicholas; granddaughter, Aubrey Nicholas; and grandson, Aaron Nicholas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Dewey Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joel Heid officiating. Burial will follow at the Dewey Cemetery.
