Patricia A. Noonan, 68, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026.

She was born February 23, 1957 to John E. Noonan and Betty L. Burton in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Patricia, better known as Patty or Trish, was a Benton High School alumnus and member of Wyatt Park Christian Church. She had an extensive career of 42 years at Mosaic Life Care, most of that time serving as a secretary in the emergency room.

Patty found great joy in the simplicity of gardening and had an incredible green thumb. Her enjoyment of learning and crafting always landed her in the middle of new hobbies to try. She had a deep love for animals which shone through in the care of the many pets she had over the years.

Family and friendship were the cornerstones of her life. She cherished the times spent surrounded by the people she loved. For those who knew Patty, knew she had a giving heart and a kind soul.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny Ray Noonan.

Survivors include her daughter, Larissa Noonan; sister, Jeannie Rigby; several of her cousins; and her close friends who were a constant source of love and support throughout her life.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor her memory to make a donation to Second Harvest Foodbank or YWCA of St. Joseph – causes that reflected her compassion for others.

Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals. Online guest book and obituary at www.simplifyfunerals.com.
