Brenda Dohman
October 18, 2025
We´re so sorry to hear of your loss.
Pat was my friend for a few years. I really liked her. She was always a pleasure to be around, smart, pretty, adorable, and cheerful.
She was a great nurse, too, tirelessly providing compassionate care to others. She was a dynamo. I think she could do anything.
When I texted her to finding out where to send a book I bought her, she told me about her diagnosis. I asked her what I could do or get, she said:
No I am good just prayers.
So I wrote her a prayer, she responded to me with `Beautiful Brenda´. So I started calling her `Beautiful Pat.´
Instead of mailing her the book, my husband and I took it and a bedside touch lamp, so she could read easier.
When I think of her, I´ll think of her, as my friend, Beautiful Pat, with her infectious laugh. I´ll think of how much she enjoyed our holiday dinners, I´ll miss talking to her and checking in with texts, and sending her get well cards during her trials with long covid. Most of all, I´ll always remember how brave and how strong she was to the very end.
I´ll miss her for a very long time to come.
With caring thoughts and sympathy,
Brenda, and Harry, too.
