The first thing I see in my mind, when I think of Trish, is her infectious smile and contagious laughter. Trish was a very down to earth and cool lady. She was always so personable and had a way of making everyone feel like a friend or family. One of my favorite memories is of she and Lizzi spending an entire two days baking holiday pies from scratch. Everyone was so impressed and in awe of their intricate decorative crusts. They looked like something out of a magazine and so pretty, we were afraid to cut into them. But we did, and they were just as delicious as they were beautiful. They were always doing something, whether cooking, gardening, making jewelry, music, garage selling. . Sometimes they'd just sit out on the porch, drinking coffee and reading for hours, or nap together side by side. Watching and listening to them always made my heart smile. She was good of heart and soul, and she bragged on all of her kids endlessly, praising how intelligent and creative they all were. We shared in marveling at our grandchildren and how enamored we were with them. She taught them her things, told them her stories, nurtured them with her heart. They were blessed to have her, and I will strive to keep reminding them of her love and memories. Lizzi, Franny, and Patrick, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I pray you and your children all find peace and healing in all the good and loving memories of and with her. She loved you all so much.
