Patty was born on December 23, 1951, in Missoula Montana. She spent several years there and then the family moved to Kalispell. She attended Linderman Junior High and Flathead County High School. She was active in Job's Daughters, cheerleading and T.A.R.S Teenage Republicans. When she was a freshman, she caught the eye of her soon to be boyfriend. Little did she know it would turn into a 54-year marriage.
Patty and G.O. were married June 26, 1971, while attending Western Montana College. She worked at the bank in Dillon while G.O. finished school.
Her first son (R.C.) Robert Charles was born in Sheridan on March 23, 1973.
The family moved to Bozeman in 1974. Patty continued her banking career until 1975 when they moved to Livingston.
Raising R.C. she still had time for the Junior Women's Club and other civic activities.
On February 27, 1976, a second son Zachary Lee made his entrance into the Ordish family. Between being mother and working she still found time for church, picnics, T-Ball, wrestling, and little guys football. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping with G.O. and the boys.
In 1987 the family moved to Las Vegas Nevada. In Las Vegas every weekend was either at a football game, baseball game or golf tournament with either R.C. or Zach. She worked for several years at Lockheed Martin and has told stories about working in area 51.
With both boys through college R.C. at New Mexico State and Zach at UNLV
Patty and G.O. decided to move back to Dillon and had a home built in 2005.
While in Dillon Patty was a volunteer at the Museum. She was also active in the Methodist church and involved in many of their activities. She enjoyed gardening and loved all kinds of flowers.
She loved all our pets through the years, mostly labradors but her favorite was Lucy, an Idaho shag that slept with her every night.
