With hearts full of love and a touch of laughter, we remember Patricia Marie Owens of Ogden, Utah, who passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 65.
Patty, as she was lovingly known, was a woman who knew how to spoil the people she loved—especially her beloved son, Timothy Patton. To say he was the apple of her eye would be an understatement. She made sure he never went without, whether it was a warm meal, a word of encouragement, or just one more hug.
Patty grew up surrounded by the love and chaos of a big family. She is survived by her siblings: Michael Owens, Gordon Owens, Kim Johnson, Krissy Owens, and Billy Owens; and her stepmother, Grace Owens. She is now reunited with her parents, Melvin Owens and Margaret James, who surely welcomed her with open arms and maybe a cold glass of Pepsi.
Known for her kindness, gentle humor, and ability to make everyone feel like family, Patty touched the lives of many. She had a knack for storytelling, a soft spot for sweets, and an unmatched way of making even strangers feel like old friends.
Though she’s no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the laughter she shared, the hugs she gave, and the love she so freely offered. Patty was loved by many and will be missed by all.
