Patricia Pare' Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton from Jul. 9 to Jul. 10, 2025.
.PATRICIA GERIOT PARE'

Ms. Patricia Pare', a retired but career-long Elementary School teacher, passed away peacefully

on Sunday, July 6, 2025. She most recently resided in Southampton, NJ, and lived in southern

New Jersey for the past 4 decades. Patricia was born in Philadelphia, PA, on June 13, 1945

and was raised there as well. She was a graduate from West Philadelphia Catholic Girls' High

School and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Gwynedd-

Mercy College in 1972.

Although she geographically relocated multiple times over her adult life span, her deep roots as

a "Philly Girl" never left her and enriched her unique character. Patricia was an endless seeker

of social justice, a spouse, mother, teacher (notably in parochial school settings, and then an

ESL instructor within the Camden, NJ, Public Schools), and a very dear friend to many new and

long-term acquaintances she had met over the years. She related to beloved folks of all age

groups, nationalities, lifestyles, and social/income levels. She was a woman for all seasons with

the enduring traits of kindness and inclusion, notably through her wit and laughter.

Her parents, Francis (Frank) Geriot and Patricia (Dolan) Geriot, predeceased her as has her

sister, Jeannette (Geriot) Johnson. Patricia is lovingly survived by her spouse- Robert J. Pare',

a son- Jason R. Pare' with his spouse, Carolyn, and a brother, Robert Francis Geriot with his

spouse, Judy. She has 2 beautiful grandsons- Ethan and Nolan Pare'- about whom she is

extremely proud and who live with their parents in Medford, NJ. She is additionally survived by

numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and very dear friends.

Patricia was a lover of literature, read every page of the daily Philadelphia Inquirer, and could

read several books in a week. A lifelong learner, Patricia was also an explorer. In addition to

traveling in Europe with her family, Patricia vacationed with close companions on trips out West

to the National Parks, along the eastern US/Atlantic coastline, and to her favorite destinations in

the state of Maine. She enjoyed sewing and crafts ("lap work") which made for personalized and

handmade gifts along with decorating her own welcoming home. She was also known for

hosting nutritious and delicious dinners whether it be Tuesday evening or Thanksgiving. When

you sat at her table you were in for a great meal, the world's best homemade iced tea, and great

conversation with laughs. If she was not recalling former memories, she was always creating

new ones. .

Until her last day, Patricia shared her empathy, love, and kindness with all those whom she

came in contact. She "touched everyone she met." She will be greatly missed but her good

works will live on through all of us who had the privilege of knowing her and calling her Pat,

Patricia, Patsy, Sister Dismas, Ms. Geriot, Mrs. Pare', "Missy", Wife, Mom, and Grammy.

Donations in her memory and in lieu of flowers may be forwarded to:

Deepest condolences to the family. She was well loved by many but especially by my mother. Her friendship with my mom started many years ago and even as my mother aged and had memory issues. Her support of me while caring for my mother was so appreciated. She will be missed.
