Patricia Lynn Parrott, affectionately known as Patty, graced this world with her presence on January 31, 1958, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Her vibrant spirit embarked on its heavenly journey on October 30, 2024, in Marshall, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and joyous memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. Patty's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her adoring son, Sam Atwood, and his wife, Emma; her beloved daughter, Courtney Atwood; and her cherished grandchildren, Kyler and Mia Espinosa and Remington Atwood. Patty's joy was further multiplied by the love she shared with her nephew, Chip Pike, and his wife, Tracey. Her heart and home were always open, creating a warm environment where friends became family, and laughter was the soundtrack of their lives. Patty's vibrant legacy will continue to shine in the lives of her extended family and the countless friends who were blessed to know her. Patty was preceded in death by her caring parents, Ella Faye and LeRoy Parrott, Sr.; her brother, LeRoy Parrott, Jr.; and her sister, Charlotte Puffer. Each of them played a pivotal role in shaping the wonderful woman she became, and their influence was evident in her every action. Professionally, Patty dedicated many years of her life as a secretary and legal assistant at Richard Anderson Law Firm. Her meticulous nature, combined with her innate ability to connect with others, made her an invaluable asset to the firm and a beloved colleague. Patty's professional achievements, however, were always secondary to her passion for her family and her faith. Beyond the walls of the office, Patty found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was often seen with her loyal dog, Gidget, by her side, a faithful companion on many adventures. Patty's love for 70s disco music was well-known, and she could outshine even the brightest disco ball on the dance floor with her infectious energy and enthusiasm. Her faith was deeply important to her, and she was an active and devoted member of both the River Crossing Cowboy Church and Pope City Baptist Church, where she worshipped and served with a heart full of gratitude. But of all the roles Patty embraced throughout her life, none was more cherished than that of a mother and grandmother. She was her children's biggest cheerleader, never missing a chance to support them, whether it was a school play, a sports event, or any of life's milestones. Patty's pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she adored with every fiber of her being. Each moment spent with them was a precious gift, and her influence will undoubtedly live on through their lives. Patty's departure from this earth is not a farewell but a transition to an eternal life where she will continue to watch over her loved ones. Her spirit, a beacon of light and love, will forever guide and inspire those she has left behind. Her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering commitment to her family will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will be a comforting presence that will never fade. As we reflect on the beautiful tapestry of Patty's life, we are reminded of the profound impact one person can have on so many. Patty Lynn Parrott lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. She will be remembered not only for the life she lived but also for the love she bestowed and the joy she brought to so many. Patty's story is not one of an end, but a celebration of a life that will continue to resonate within the lives of those she touched forever.
