In loving memory of Patricia Sue "Pat" Quinn Davis, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence, we gather to pay our heartfelt respects as we bid her farewell. Pat's journey began on April 27, 1942, when she brought joy and light into the lives of Robert Quinn and Pearl Barbour. She grew up alongside her siblings, Jean Clippard, Emily Lineberger, Lois Weathers, and Clayton Quinn and her surviving sister, Martha Dillard (Don)
Pat dedicated many fulfilling years of her life working at Service Merchandise in the jewelry department, where her warm smile and kind heart endeared her to colleagues and customers alike. Her compassion and dedication left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Among the many joys in Pat's life was her love for travel, especially when shared with family and friends. She found great joy in exploring new destinations with her dear friend Rita Readon, creating cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
On May 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving children, Pat peacefully passed away at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. Though we mourn her physical absence, we take solace in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband Verlin Carlos Davis, who embarked on his heavenly journey in June 2015.
Pat leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be carried forward by those she held dear. She is survived by her son, Mark Benton (Lisa), her daughter, Cindi Barker (Aaron) and her beloved grandchildren Barbra, Sarah, Jessica, Alexis and Lilly and her great grandchildren, Zander, Joseph, and Zoey.
To honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Patricia "Pat" Quinn Davis, a visitation will be held on May 16th from 4:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation in Gastonia.
May we find comfort in the fond memories we shared with Pat and may her gentle spirit continue to guide us through the journey of life. Rest in peace, dear Pat; you will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of love and light.
