Patricia "Pat" Theriot Kraemer passed away at 77 years of age on Friday, December 5, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Houma.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. The Rite of Christian burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Pat is survived by her son: Richard "Rick" Kraemer; brother: Mark Theriot and wife Linda; nieces: Barbara D. Kelton, Varessa Kelton, Melissa Kelton, Pamela (Lloyd) Parker, Tracy Theriot, Angela Theriot, Tammy T. (Robert) Haydel, Tricia Theriot, Kara T. (Mike) Domangue, Angela Kraemer, Candace (Daniel) Dragon, Olivia (Kobi) Lombes, Dana Veillon; nephews: Barry Theriot, Gary Theriot, Eric (Lisa) Singleton, Shane (April) Theriot, Brett (Paula) Theriot, Troy (Michelle) Theriot, Jared (Giselle) Theriot and Carl (Sandy) Kraemer, Stuart Kraemer; and numerous additional nieces and nephews.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband: Merle Kraemer; parents: Louis and Sirena King Theriot; grandparents: John and Dorathea Brause King, Gilbert and Josephine LeBoeuf Theriot; mother and father-in-law: Audrey L. and Edwin Kraemer; sisters: Arlena Dupre and Anna Singleton; brothers: Normal, Louis Jr., Carroll, Jerome, Darrel and Dave Theriot; niece: Victoria D. Dellinger; nephews: Darren Theriot, Stephen Theriot, as well as Kevin Singleton and Dale Singleton.
Pat was a longtime parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters of America. Pat retired from JC Penny after 31 years of dedicated service. Of all the things she enjoyed in life, she cherished spending time with her family and friends the most.
