Patricia "Pat" Raley

Patricia Geraldine Raley, lovingly known as “Pat” and “Me-Maw,” age 74, of Vancleave, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Pat was born on December 7, 1950, in Texas to Fred and Johnnie Johnson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. On her journey through life, she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Gerald Raley, building a home filled with love and laughter.

Pat and her husband, Gerald were the owners of Raley Enterprise and you could always find them at their booth at Menge Flea Market on the weekends where she made many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, making jewelry and scrapbooking. She also had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley and the color purple. She loved to travel to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Disney World.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Johnnie Johnson; and her daughter, Tricket Heald (Raley).

Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Gerald Raley; her son, Jamey Raley; her grandchildren, Anthony Heald, Andrew Heald, Ashley Weller, Kirstie Broski, Alissa Heald, and Jamey Raley Jr.; and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters, Johnalorse White, Norma Lee Figueroa, Kay Davis, and Maybelline Johnson, along with many extended family members, dear friends, and as well as her beloved pets; her cat, Pretty Girl and her dog, Teenie.

Her greatest joy in life was her family, who will forever remember her as a source of unconditional love, strength, and encouragement.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Ramsay Road in Vancleave on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until service time.

Pat will be deeply missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her

To honor Pat’s vibrant personality and love for life, the family kindly requests that those attending her service wear purple, floral, or colorful casual attire rather. This celebration of her life will reflect the beauty and joy she brought to everyone around her.
