Patricia "Pat" Ann Stiles

 

Patricia “Pat” Ann Stiles, 78, of Benton, Arkansas was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on November 15, 2022.  She was born September 21, 1944 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Pat was a member of West Bauxite Baptist Church.  She always put others first and was willing to help anyone in need.  Pat had a huge heart and volunteered at Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she fed and rocked babies in the NICU.   She enjoyed reading and crocheting.  Her grandchildren cherish the beautiful afghans she made for them.  Pat looked forward to family gatherings and always had a spread of food prepared.  Her family’s favorites include the best dressing ever, biscuits, and chicken salad.  She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and taught them how to cook by allowing them to help her.  Pat’s loving husband says she was the perfect wife who loved others and had a beautiful heart. 

Preceding Pat in death are her parents, JW and Winnie Asbury; brother, Willard Robinson; and sister, Gussie Hampton.

Pat leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of over sixty-one years, Otis Stiles of Benton; children:  Teresa Newcomb (Rob) and Todd Stiles (Stephanie) both of Benton; grandchildren:  Trey Newcomb (Jenny), Britney Conyers (Cody), Trevor Newcomb, Sara Engstrom (Chance), Lauren Pinkston (Matt), and Laney Stiles; great-grandchildren:  Carson and Palmer Conyers, Lydia Engstrom, Sadie and Presley Pinkston, and Owen Newcomb; sister, Nancy Dawson (Elmo) of Benton; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in law; and all of her extended family and friends who love her and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held 3:00-4:00 PM, Monday, November 21, followed by Memorial service, officiated by Bro. Don Harris, at 4:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.
